How to Run Mathematica Batch-files in Background ?
نویسنده
چکیده
Mathematica is a versatile equipment for doing numeric and symbolic computations and it has wide spread applications in all branches of science. Mathematica has a complete consistency to design it at every stage that gives it multilevel capability and helps advanced usage evolve naturally. Mathematica functions work for any precision of number and it can be easily computed with symbols, represented graphically to get the best answer. Mathematica is a robust software development that can be used in any popular operating systems and it can be communicated with external programs by using proper Math-link commands. In this article I illustrate how to create a Mathematica Batch-file from a Mathematica notebook and then how to run this batch file in background. For large computational operations we generally run our programs in background and here I give a detailed description about the way of runningMathematica programs in background for the Unix version only. It can also be possible to run Mathematica for Windows versions by using proper Mathematica batch files which are not described in this article.

متن کاملMESAFace, a graphical interface to analyze the MESA output
MESA (Modules for Experiments in Stellar Astrophysics) has become very popular among astrophysicists as a powerful and reliable code to simulate stellar evolution. Analyzing the output data thoroughly may, however, present some challenges and be rather time-consuming. Here we describe MESAFace, a graphical and dynamical interface which provides an intuitive, efficient and quick way to analyze t...
متن کاملComparison between batch and fed-batch production of rhamnolipid by Pseudomonas aeruginosa
This paper presents a comparison between batch and three different sets of fed batch fermentations forrhamnolipid production by Pseudomonas aeruginosa. The batch run was performed with 500 ml of culturemedium having the initial glycerol and sodium nitrate concentrations of 30 and 8.3 g/l, respectively. For a fedbatch run with nitrogen source in feed, 250 ml of the nitrogen exc...
متن کاملA Basic Introduction on Math-Link in Mathematica
Starting from the basic ideas of Mathematica I give a detailed description how to link external programs with Mathematica through proper MathLink commands. This article will be helpful for the beginners to start and write programs in Mathematica. I also describe in detail about the characterizations of local and global variables which are very essential for writing programs in Mathematica. We c...
متن کاملMathIOmica‐MSViewer: a dynamic viewer for mass spectrometry files for Mathematica
MathIOmica-MSViewer is an add-on graphical user interface utility for the Mathematica software system which facilitates the visualization and exploration of spectra from open format mass spectrometry files (mzXML and mzML standard community formats). The viewer was designed for simplicity and handling of large mass spectrometry data files. To facilitate searches, users may use search filters fo...
